Thomason Families - Tennessee

There are a number of the Thomason families in the 1850 Maury Co., Tennessee Census that are believed to be related to William Thomason, Sr. and his three sons, William, Jr., Jeremiah and Jack. One thing that makes the tracing of families so hard is the spelling of the last name changes from year to year and that the first name James, John, Jack and Jake is interchanged at times in the records.

Maury Co Census:
1820 : Jeremiah Thomason
1830 : John Thomeson.
1840 : Jeremiah Thomasson, Sophia Thomasson, William Thomasson, John Thommason, James H. Thomopson, Charles A. Tomlinson and William Thomilnson.
